Photographs/Films
The Museum's photographic gallery displays many examples of Johnston
Photographs - both studio portraits and local events.
The Wick Society is also building an archive of films relating to the
fishing industry, both herring and white fish. It holds historic films
of local events such as the annual Herring Queen Celebrations.
There is also an extensive collection of photographs from a number of sources
depicting local fishing boats, town festivals and the photographic records of local
groups such as the Boy Scouts.
Society Members are available to give showing of these films to clubs,
guilds and at other functions.
The Gallery also displays some fine examples of model boats.
There are also records and memorabilia of the Boys Brigade.
