Listen to the children from class P2/3R at Noss Primary School talk about their favourite things about Christmas.

Christmas dinners with the family feature in many of the recordings and the children remind us that,

"It's not all about presents, it's about spending time with your family.”

The children describe decorating Christmas trees with glittery baubles and sparkling lights.

"We help decorate the Christmas tree together, she (my cousin) picks out the Christmas decorations and I put them on.”

Also, "When I can't put the star on the tree my dad lifts me on his shoulders.”

Many of the children associate Christmas with building snowmen and playing in the snow on Christmas morning.

They capture the excitement of waiting for Santa to come, opening presents, playing with toys, and having great fun but they also remind us that, "We celebrate Christmas because Jesus was born on Christmas day.”
